Central Paving helps provide Idaho with its first SPUI interchange.

Highlights: Idaho’s first SPUI interchange at Vista/I-84. The wider and higher overpass structure design required over 200,000 CY of imported fill, which was successfully placed in tight work zones with access restrictions. Approximately 18 acres of the finished project was shoulder, slopes, and pond areas. Slope construction and revegetation of up to 2.5:1 steepness. The roadway slope work on this project was typical of many highway projects we have completed, including many road projects through mountainous areas. As prime contractor, Central Paving completed SWPPP coverage and BMP responsibilities per NPDES permit. All materials and construction was successfully documented via the rigorous ITD QC/QA procedures.
